Weight
The weight of a double buggy is one of the main factors that determine its ease to push. Typically, a light buggy is easier to lift and transport however, it may not have enough suspension to handle bumps and uneven terrain.
Be sure to check the specifications of each model before buying. Some double buggies have an upper limit on the weight of the seats, while others have an overall frame limit. Some double buggies are able to be folded with the seats removed, making them lighter and more compact. This is useful in cases where you have limited storage space.
Tri-fold doubles are typically the lightest, since they only require a single hand to lift the top and lower sections. They're also a bit smaller than side-byside buggies, making them ideal to fit through doors. Manoeuvrability
